Boursin pork Chops
Description
This recipe is so easy and customizable, that you can't help but love it. Full of flavor, nourishment, and ideal for busy folks on a budget. At the end of a long day this is recipe is like a warm hug that fills me with the strength to keep going.
Try switching it up with your favorite Boursin flavors or change the vegetable pairing to fit seasonal availability asparagus, broccoli or spinach are all great options, serve on it's own as pictured or over rice or mashed potatoes.

Season pork chops with garlic powder , sear in the pan over medium high, and set aside ( they do not need to be cooked through fully yet)
I make this in the Dutch oven but you can use any skillet or large heavy bottom pan.

Turn burner to medium add oil, butter and onion, let the onion saute for about 5 mins

Add the chicken broth and boursin to the pan and stir until they combine to form a creamy sauce.
You can add more broth if needed at any time after this.

Let the sauce simmer for 5 minutes then add the parsley.

Add the pork chops back into the pan (as well as any plate juices) let them simmer for 3 minutes.

Add snow peas and allow them to simmer in the pan for another 3 minutes.
If using a firmer vegetable such as broccoli, add to the pan when you return the pork chops to it.

Plate, garnish with fresh cracked pepper and enjoy🙂
